Senior Session: Erica

Erica, my assistant and I spent a lonnnng day together a few weeks ago, but if I must say so myself, the results were well worth it!

We started downtown and made a loop, hitting locations around the cultural district.   We were surprised when two and a half hours had passed!  Despite the 90 degree weather, Erica remained poised and patient, and we headed over to the North side to the Mexican War Streets.

I’m so glad that we did, as we wouldn’t have had the honor of meeting Randy Gilson, of the famed “Randyland”!  Randy was kind enough to invite us inside the gates of his amazing location, and in his exuberant way, inspired Erica and Alex (my daughter and assistant), both destined for careers in the arts, with wonderful advice about perserverance and dedication to one’s craft.  The girls truly left there in awe of Randy and his accomplishments.
