August Update
Since my last post, I've still been busying shooting a lot. In particular, I had a great trip to New York city, where I got some really nice shots. I've been working on creating some silos, particularly these Tiffany's box shots, and travel gear silos. I also took a trek to the Southside, where I took a few images that I'm particularly fond of.
Loving my Tokina 11-16/2.8.
Also, I've updated my portfolio page and provided the ability to browse my newest images at any time, in descending date order, which is kind of handy.

The D200 Has Landed
I finally got my dream camera, a Nikon D200, and I've been shooting like crazy for the past ten days. Following an initial photo session with the cat, additional subjects included local cemeteries, the majestic rotunda at The Pennsylvanian, downtown Pittsburgh and Station Square, Sewickley, and big construction equipment. You may find this concept photo about life and death amusing. I also am proud of this photo of a lone business traveler.

Panama Canal
I spent the day today editing, organizing and uploading my images from my 2005 voyage through the Panama Canal, on the cruise ship Brilliance of the Seas. The process was quite fascinating, and I'm sure many will find this photo set quite educational.

Amazing Arizona
I just returned from a short trip to Phoenix, Arizona, and I've posted the photos to my Flickr galleries. I absolutely fell in love with this region, particularly the stunning red rocks of Sedona, two hours north of Phoenix. I spent an afternoon visiting the Chapel of the Holy Cross and taking in the breathtaking beauty of the area. I'd love to go back and spend more time photographing the southwestern United States.
